I'm bringing good news !

Hello everybody !

Here I have some good news : yesterday, Friday 18 April 2008, I played "The good, the bad and the ugly" (which is available on this blog) during an audition and guess what... I won the audience prize (which is amazing as I only have 1 year of piano behind me) ! But I also won the 4th jury prize !

I'm learning Pirates of Caribbean theme, a French song called "La bohème", a Celtic song (that I have written myself !) and much more !
I think I'll first add my Celtic song, get ready : it's amazing (as it's mine)

Everyday

Hi everybody !

I've just added a new piece : Jamie Houston's "Everyday, from "High School Musical II". It's normal it doesn't sound like the original song because someone singing along would be needed more there is normally other instruments such as a guitare, ...
So, there's here only the piano part. If you have the sheets for other instruments (that I don't have but that interest me), you can play it along this video, I'm not going so fast. If you want you also can sing along (I haven't done it because I can't sing ^^)

Victor's Piano solo

Hello !

I've just recorded a new piece : "Victor's piano solo". It's the piece played by Victor on the piano at the beginning of Tim Burton's "Corpse Bride", a wonderful movie that you should watch not only because it's beautiful but also because the soundtrack is WON-DER-FUL !

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Hi all !

Just after "Moonlight", I'm adding "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly". Once again, I made lots of mistakes (adding some things, I don't know why just this time). But I still hope you'll enjoy it and feel free to comment this piece !

Moonlight

Hello everybody !

I've just finished recording this blog's first video ! I chose "Moonlight" from L. van Beethoven. I hope you'll enjoy it even if I made some mistakes (well, I think so but people who've already heard it said there was none).

Introduction

Hi everybody !

I'm Pierre, 16, I've been playing piano for nearly 1 year and I must tell you I think I'm pretty good !

This blog is gathering all the pieces I play, those I learn as well as the videos of the ones I play.

I'll probably add the first videos this Week-End or at last for Easter.

Anyway, here's the list of all the songs I play :

- "Country Rag" (a song I found on the internet, pretty good)

- Piano Duet, Danny Elfman (from the same song, but I only play Victoria's part and I look for someone who could play Victor's)
- Harry Potter's theme (Very easy, suitable for the beginners)
- Everyday, Jamie Houston (Only "modern" piece I play, from High School Musical II)
- Imagine, John Lennon (Once again, very easy, for the beginners)
- Piano Dreams, Hans Günter (From "Piano Stars", beautiful song !)
